2010 - the long awaited year for South Africa and Bafana Bafana. Despite being ranked 85th in the world, the host nation will compete in the World Cup with the best teams in the world. And as if to prove their worth, yesterday they beat Swaziland 5-1. Unfortunately I am not in the least bit interested in football. Right place wrong time?

Family News Rorisang is settling in very well. She has grown five centimetres and put on 1½kg in three months. She is developing a really funny sense of humour and is fun to be with (most of the time!).

After much deliberation, I have moved Palesa’s school. She is very happy in her new school. The class is small and her teacher seems kind.
